Product reviews for Bloodwood and Maple with Bubinga frame and Curly Maple inlay 2½ inch squares

I was looking for a high quality chess board that would compliment my Bud Rosewood/Boxwood Luxor Staunton pieces (4-1/2" King).  I came across the Sweet Hill Wood site with the help of Google, and after doing a bit of research, I placed my order.  The board arrived yesterday, and it is absolutely stunning !!!  And the workmanship is top notch !   The board is made of SOLID wood (no veneers), is 2 sided, and finished on both sides. Both sides are gorgeous, making it difficult to decide which side to use for play.  The dimensions of the board are about 23½" square and 3/4" thick, with 2-1/2" squares ... perfectly complimenting my chess pieces.  In summary, AJ's chess board exceeds my expectations in every way.
